Katsunori Kawano was appointed as Strategic Research Planning Manager.

Mr. Katsunori Kono, Manager of Research Strategy

　On November 1, 2020, Katsunori Kawano was appointed as Strategic Research Planning Manager of the IAS. A ceremony to celebrate his appointment was held on November 5, 2020.

　Katsunori Kawano, in his new position as Strategic Research Planning Manager, will be responsible for the management of the Quantum Information Research Center and other facilities at the Institute of Advanced Sciences. He is the fourth Strategic Research Planning Manager at the Institute of Advanced Sciences.
